It was a four-hour bus ride to Bauan, Batangas and twenty minutes of boat ride to Dive and Trek Resort, but the long trip (not to mention the unbearable motion sickness suffered by students who are not used to riding a bus) did not keep the students and their teachers from enjoying the sun and snorkeling in the clear water of Batangas.
The students together with their teacher left Manila on November 17 for a whole day Educational Tour.
The students also did a quick yoga session while facing the beautiful Batangas Bay led by Teacher Jay. The slight drizzle failed to dampen their excitement at taking in the fresh breeze that blew from the sea.
The language task expected of the five teams in the tour was to produce 5-7-minute short films that fall under the genre of suspense, travelogue, documentary, love story, and comedy. These short films will be screened on December 1 during ALC’s first Short Film Festival.
Some of the groups went on a brief hike and climbed the second highest peak in the area to shoot their travelogue.

Some, however, stayed in the resort to shoot their short films.
